Are there any gas stations or amenities in Milo or close by?

Milo is classified as a Village and amenities are limited:

  • The only public buildings available for amenities is: Milo Hotel and Bar, Milo Library, Cottage Cafe, Post Office and Milo Greens Grocery Store.

  • There are NO GAS STATIONS in the village! Be sure you’ve got a full tank ️. The nearest fill station is in Vulcan 20 minutes away.

  • The Milo grocery store is open till 6:30 pm daily. They are a micro grocery store with everything you need!

How Do I Get to LieLow?

  • LieLow is hosted in the Village of Milo in Southern Alberta.

  • Finding the LieLow Fest site google “take me to Milo” Then you’ve found us! The first you turn off the highway into the village you will see the Milo decommissioned Church and this is where LieLow takes place.

Where do I park?

  • There is street parking for everyone. You might have to park a block away, but that’s A-OK. We ask you to be sure to *not to block any of the local resident’s driveways and be mindful. There is also parking at the school & curling rink. Milo is 4x4 streets, everything is close!

Is there a Liquor Store?

  • No, There is no Liqoure store in Milo, and LieLow does not sell drinks. Dont worry! The Milo Hotel and Bar is on the main street and is a partner of LieLow. Here is where you buy your beer and alcoholic beverages!

  • If you want to enjoy some cocktails at your campsite, The Milo hotel also offers OFF-SALE beer, spirits and liquor for purchase.

  • On your way to LieLow the last Liquor stores can be found in HighRiver, Cluney or Vulcan.

Where do I buy food?

  • The Milo Cafe will be open for extended hours! Grab your breaky, lunch or dinner here and say hello to local owner Chef Wayne! If you are looking for take-out please give Wayne a call and allow some time for him to prepare your meal. 

  • The Milo grocery store is open till 6:30 pm daily. They are a micro grocery store with everything you need!

How Far Away is the Lake?

  • McGregor Lake is located right beside LieLow! There is a public beach, swimming areas and a provincial campground.

  • The McGregor Lake Provincial Park is a 30-minute walk to the village festival site or an 8-minute bike ride along a paved path.

Where Do I Camp?

  • There are 4 main camping areas available for you to stay overnight or for the weekend. Easily walkable and bike-able to the festival site.

  • All campsites are first come first served. (Unless previously discussed via (Glamping Packages)

  • Camping areas:

    • Milo Family Camping (RV/Tent).

    • Milo Rail Yard (Tent),

    • Milo Municipal Camping (RV/Tent)

    • Mcgregor provincial CampGround

 Are there FirePits in the Campsites?

  • No -within the Village of Milo there are no fire pits at these sites. 

  • Yes - At the Mcgregor Lake Provincial Camp Ground there are Fire rings at every site.

 Are there public Washrooms?

  • The Village of Milo campsites will have porta-potties.

  • More bathroom facilities are located at the Milo cafe and The Milo Hotel & Bar during business hours. Camping is first come first serve. There are no fire pits at these sites. 

 What Happens If It Rains?

  • Rain or shine, LieLow Music Fest will take place as planned.

KINDLY RESPECT AND FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS, THEY WERE CREATED WITH YOUR SAFETY IN MIND.

This is a litterbug-free zone, we ask you please clean up after yourself. Please take your garbage home with you. Recycling bins will be provided onsite.

All proceeds from can recycling and returns go to the Milo Alphabet Preschool and Kindergarten.

By entering the festival grounds you are agreeing to be photographed or filmed.

Please leave your fur babies at home. There are NO PETS allowed on the festival site with the exception of service animals.

Respect drinking and non-drinking areas. Campground liquor is not allowed on the festival site. 

Please respect your neighbours and mind noise levels. 

Please remember to bring flashlights, batteries, sunscreen and BUG SPRAY!

What to do if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable? We ask you to report any unruly behaviour to our staff. It’s important to us that the LieLow Music Fest is a safe space. Our team is present to make the festival experience safe and fun for everyone; kindly cooperate.

We want you to have an awesome time and are here to help. Anyone causing disruption will be asked to leave immediately. 

Whilst all acts are confirmed, the lineup is subject to change.

LieLow Music Fest has a Zero-Tolerance Policy on:

We hold the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone who does not or will not abide by this code of conduct.
